Guanidine Hydrochloride (Pharmaceutical Grade) is used in bio-pharmaceuticals, diagnostics and researches.
In bio-pharmaceuticals and researches, Guanidine Hydrochloride is used to unfold proteins for refolding studies (e.g., monoclonal antibodies study). It is also used in inclusion body solubilization. For RNA/DNA extraction, it works by disrupting hydrogen bonds in PCR, sequencing and mRNA vaccine production.
In diagnostics, Guanidine Hydrochloride works as extraction buffers for isolating nucleic acids from specimens and therefore is an essential part in test kits for viral RNA/DNA.
